Thanks to school I got minimal reading done, well, that's an understatement. I'm in my senior year of high school and I just managed to finish my weekly book report ONE DAY BEFORE - and that's when I read it to, folks.
Needless to say, I've been busy. I hate when school starts and reading is put on the back burner. That's one of the worst times of the year in my opinion, well, that and when Bees come out. (I firmly believe spring was meant to destroy me.)
But I'm planning to get back to reading this month (we'll see how that goes) so now, let's start off with September's TBR.
Like I said, I didn't read much last month so I'm going to keep a few of the books from August's TBR and add a few more to add some flavor.
For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.
But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.
Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined. (CLICK THE BOOK COVER FOR A LINK TO ADD TO YOUR GOODREADS SHELF)

Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it. A mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever (if that's possible) and what's worse, he seems to be spending time with Nora's archenemy, Marcie Millar.
Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadn't been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude, Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feelings that he is hiding something.
If that weren't enough, Nora is haunted by images of her murdered father, and comes to question whether her Nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death. Desperate to figure out what happened, she puts herself in increasingly dangerous situations to get the answer. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts. (CLICK THE BOOK COVER FOR A LINK TO ADD TO YOUR GOODREADS SHELF)

I know I'm late reading a lot of these books, they've just been sitting on my shelf because I feel like there is always something better to read. *Note: the last three books are from a Bind-Up. I have SEVEN bind ups and am trying to get through them as well!
Have fun reading, I'll be back with more posts soon.
